Film Screenings
Screenings are easy. Here's how:
1) With permission, you can show a video of the trailer for free!
A version with four of the films (about 15 minutes) is available for screening,
or seven of the films back to back (half-hour).
2) Purchase a copy of the DVD here. Or you can also receive a FREE DVD with a donation of $49 or more.
3) Play the films in your classroom, in your home, in your community, at a scout meeting, at your science center, museum, aquarium, or anywhere!
4) Discuss with your viewers what they learned in the films and how they can get involved in their communities.

Deluxe Film Screening Event
We can also offer all films -- back to back for a 1/2 hr screening with the movie producer, Lynne Cherry, along with kids who are making a difference to speak afterward. This would make for an engaging, exciting event for your group.

Screening History
THE YOUNG VOICES FOR THE PLANET FILMS HAVE BEEN SCREENED AT:

THE FILMS HAVE BEEN SCREENED AT THE ANNUAL CONFERENCES OF:
- The National Science Teachers Association
- The Association of Science & Technology Centers
- The American Bar Association's Environmental Law Conference
- The Society of Environmental Journalists
- National Council of Science and the Environment
- International Reading Association
The films were screened at the COP15 Climate Talks in Copenhagen at ten different venues and included in the “prep-kit” for Next Generation which helps Copenhagen students develop sustainable strategies for their local school and the surrounding areas.

The films are currently touring through the US and Canada with Mountainfilm at Telluride's and Wild & Scenic's traveling film festivals.
All eight films were screened in Gary Braasch’s spectacular photographic exhibit, Climate Change in Our World, at The Association for the Advancement of Science in Washington DC through April 30, 2010. Many of the movies can also be seen on the websites of many non-profits including The Climate Institute, National Wildlife Federation and Alliance for Climate Education. |
